Awe-inspiring: Artist Thomas Kallarackal with one of his paintings which will be on display at Chitrakala Parishat in Bangalore from Friday. Bangalore: Chitrakala Parishat is going all green. Two shows starting on Friday at the venue are around the theme of nature and wildlife. Thomas Kallarackal, a Kerala-born artist who has made Bangalore his home, is exhibiting his works on nature. He says that his huge canvases are a tribute to the beauty of the wild, which is fast fading. The show will be on till February 16. At the same venue, an exhibition of photographs on this theme by some well-known photographers will be on display from Friday. The show is being held in memory of wildlife conservationist Krishna Narain. The exhibition is in three sections: Natural History, Wildlife Conservation and Forest Landscapes. Pictures on display are from 700 entries that came for the contest organised in honour of Krishna Narain. The exhibition will be inaugurated by Chairperson of the Legislative Council B.K. Chandrashekar. Cricketer Anil Kumble and wildlife biologist Ullas Karanth will participate in the function. The exhibition will be on till February 10.
