Court directive to TTD on attenders

HYDERABAD: Justice C.V. Ramulu of the High Court on Thursday directed the Tirumala Tirupati Devsthanams (TTD) to consider the representation of the attenders for appointments being made to the post of shroff.

The judge was disposing off a writ petition filed by one Vasu and others who said that the attenders had only one avenue for promotion that of shroff.

The other persons who hold posts like gardeners had other avenues of promotion and hence the case of the attenders alone be considered.

The judge asked the TTD to look into the grievance of the petitioners before making appointments to the post of the attenders.
