Career guidance workshop

VANIYAMBADI: A workshop on career guidance and communication skills was held at Marudhar Kesari Jain College for Women, Vaniyambadi, on Wednesday.

Presiding over the workshop, P. Shivakumar, director of Santhome Institute, Chennai, said that women should develop communication competence, quantitative aptitude and logical reasoning. They should update their knowledge of the current happenings by reading newspapers.

D. Uttamchand Jain, joint secretary of the college, said that there were bigger options in every branch of education. D. Karunakaran, college principal, welcomed the gathering.
