Probe on into activities of SIA

KASARAGOD: The State police have started investigations as to whether the four youth arrested by Bekal police from Edavumkal, Uduma, for damaging posters of a temple festival have any links with SIMI. This is following discovery of pamphlets of an organisation, Students Islamic Association (SIA) from them.

The youth are K.T. Muhammad Asif (20), of LBS Engineering College; B.K. Altaf, of Chemmanad Jama Ath Arts College; Abdul Basith, a salesman; and P.M. Muneeb Rahman.
