DMK questions veracity of charge

CHENNAI: The Dravida Munnetra Kazhagam (DMK) has questioned the veracity of All India Anna Dravida Munnetra Kazhagam general secretary Jayalalithaa’s charge about huge expenditure being incurred during grand functions conducted by the DMK.

A DMK release reminded Ms. Jayalalithaa of the “mother of all wedding celebrations” of her foster son. Her outburst revealed how envious she was about the accolades showered on DMK president and Chief Minister M. Karunanidhi. — Special Correspondent
