AITA enquiry panel

NEW DELHI: The All India Tennis Association (AITA) has appointed a committee to look into any instance of match-fixing in the past, following recent reports in the media, and to establish a code of conduct for tennis persons in the country.

According to a release issued by the AITA here on Thursday, the committee will consist of Sarabjit Singh, IPS, Akhtar Ali and V.K. Batra.

The committee will look into cases going back to 1994, and recommend suitable action. — Special Correspondent
