WASHINGTON: The new $450 million home of a journalism museum called the Newseum will open here on April 11. Admission will be free on opening day; after that, it will cost $20 (about Rs. 800). The previous incarnation of the Newseum, which was in Arlington, was closed in 2002. The new building on Pennsylvania Avenue has 250,000 sq ft of exhibition space, 15 theatres, 14 galleries and two broadcast studios. There are interactive kiosks where visitors can put themselves in various roles — photographer, editor, reporter or anchor. — AP
