Zilla Grandhalaya to be modernised

VIZIANAGARAM: Chairman of Zilla Grandhalaya Samstha Rongali Pothanna has said that the samastha is hopeful of realising at least Rs. 20 to 30 lakhs out of Rs. 1.01-crore cess due from local bodies this year.

Addressing a press conference on the occasion of completing 100 days in office on Thursday, Mr. Pothanna said that modernisation of Zilla Grandhalaya Samstha was being taken up with Rs. 3 lakhs, Cheepurupalli and Moida in Nellimarla mandal with Rs. 7 lakhs.

He said Lok Sabha member from Bobbili Botsa Jhansi Lakshmi released the grants for repairs and modernisation, he said. Foundation stone for a branch at Bondapalli would be laid next month, he said.
