Nomination to varsity withdrawn

BANGALORE: Following widespread protests, Governor Rameshwar Thakur on Thursday withdrew the nomination of Rajyalakshmi, MLC from Andhra Pradesh, to the Syndicate of the Karnataka State Women’s University, Bijapur.

A press release from the Raj Bhavan said the Governor had issued an order withdrawing the nomination of the MLC to the university Syndicate.
