Congress leader to join BJP

Bangalore: E. Ashwath Narayana, Congressman and former president of the Karnataka Scheduled Castes and Scheduled Tribes Development Corporation, has announced his decision to join the BJP.

Speaking to presspersons here on Thursday, Mr. Ashwath Narayana said that he was leaving the Congress because it was “using Dalits as no more than a vote bank”. — Special Correspondent
