Goa Police push for identification in hotels

Special Correspondent

PANAJI: In the light of information that recently two terror suspects from neighbouring States went unnoticed despite their stay in a guest-house in Goa, the Goa State Police has put up a forceful case before the State Government to make it mandatory for hospitality establishments to insist on identification of their guests.

Mr. Kishan Kumar, Goa IGP, admitted that the relaxed attitude among the hoteliers has been a big problem for the law and order enforcement agencies.
