Swamy under scanner

Saints are supposed to be symbols of simplicity and sincerity. But Nityananda Swamy alias Tripuranandanatha Swamy seems to be somewhat different going by the counterfeit currency racket case registered against him by the Cyberabad police.

The ‘self-styled godman’ from West Godavari frequents his guesthouse at Borabanda. Police say they recovered fake currency notes and tiger claws from this ‘ashram’ following confession of a gang of thieves.

“We suspect Swamy is involved in some crimes. Let him come and clear our doubts if he is a saint and not connected to any racket,” is what the police say.

Not just the police, even the common public are waiting for the reply of Swamy, who is absconding as per police records.
