German firms for ties to improve infrastructure

KOCHI: A visiting Indo-German Parliamentary Friendship group of the German Bundestag has said there are companies in Germany with expertise for waste management and water management which could be utilised by Kochi city for improving civic amenities here.

A statement from Indian Chamber of Commerce and Industry (ICCI) here on Thursday said a German delegation led by Josef Winkler, which visited the Indian Chamber, said there were possibilities for cooperation for developing infrastructure.

The German delegation appreciated the achievements Kerala had made in tourism.
