NEW DELHI: The Moradabad police have written to the Enforcement Directorate seeking a probe into the assets of anaesthetist K. K. Aggarwal and Amit Kumar’s driver Jagdish, who have been arrested for their alleged links with the multi-crore kidney racket smashed in Gurgaon.

“We have written to the Enforcement Director to inquire into the assets. If a case of money-laundering is made out then a case can be registered against them,” said Senior Superintendent of Police (Moradabad) Prem Prakash speaking to The Hindu over phone on Thursday. Mr. Prakash said the two had confirmed several revelations by Upender.Meanwhile, an agency report from Faridabad said that a case had been registered against Upendra and his hospital manager Jaswant in Ballabhgarh city.

Quoting police sources, the report said the case was registered on Wednesday night in connection with the mysterious deaths of three Turkish nationals.
