Kochi students top moot court contest

Trio’s triumph: The NUALS team that won a national moot court competition.

Kochi: Three girls from the National University of Advanced Legal Studies (NUALS), Kochi, are an excited lot after emerging triumphant at a fiercely contested national moot court competition organised by the West Bengal National University of Juridical Sciences, Kolkata, earlier this month.

The team, comprising Sharmila R., Geethu C.S. and Ranjini Rajagopal, also won the best team award at the competition.

Teams from 16 law schools from different parts of the country including the National Law Universities had taken part in the competition on ‘Corporate Social Responsibility,’ said a NUALS spokesperson.

They outperformed the NALSAR University of Law, Hyderabad, at the competition on February 2.
