THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: ‘Kidilam’ Firoz, ‘Cool’ Midhun and ‘Non Stop’ Nitha will soon be on air, entertaining radio buffs in the city and the suburban areas. Big 92.7 FM, the latest entrant to hit the airwaves, announced the launch of its 44th station here on Friday. “The programming mix of the station has been put together after much research and understanding of local requirements. It will be a true reflection of the ‘Vibe of the City’. Our content will be relevant, credible and will have aspirational value for the listeners,” said Priyesh Prathap, station head. The station will provide traffic and weather updates along with time checks and health tips. All the shows are interactive. The day’s fare starts with a spiritual programme titled ‘Suprabatham’ followed by Big Mornings by RJ ‘Kidilam’ Firoz. A special four- hour show for women, an entertainer titled ‘Savarigirigiri’ and non- stop hits hosted by RJ Nitha are other attractions. Big 92.7 FM is an initiative of Adlabs Films. It has a presence in Delhi, Mumbai, Kolkata, Chennai, Hyderabad and Bangalore and is targeting tier-2 cities across the country.
