THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: The Clean Kerala Mission will be implemented by Railways, the police, Kerala State Road Transport Corporation (KSRTC) and the Kerala State Electricity Board. This was decided at a meeting of department heads here on Thursday. Hygienic and clean toilets would be provided at railway stations, KSRTC bus stands and police stations and pay-and-use facilities would be provided at all public places. The meeting decided to appoint an ex officio State and district-level nodal officer. Each institution would have to mobilise funds for constructing toilets. The grading for selecting the most hygienic government office and public sector undertaking would begin on April 1.
