ANANTAPUR: A team of 20 progressive farmers from the district who participated in an International Horticulture Expo held at Pragati Maidan in New Delhi from January 31 to February 2 felt the need of setting up processing units for giving a thrust to the flourishing of horticulture. They had the opportunity to gain knowledge in different aspects of horticulture as all stakeholders of the sector participated in the expo, the farmers said. The expo had mainly focussed on processing and packaging, food retailing, cold chain and logistics, etc.
