Indo Tech commissions transformer unit

CHENNAI: Indo Tech Transformers has commissioned a power transformer plant to produce 220 kV and 400 kV transformers near Kancheepuram, Tamil Nadu. According to a release, the plant built up at an estimated cost of Rs. 65 crore has an installed capacity of 4,000 MVA (mega volt ampere) annually. With the commissioning of this unit, the total installed capacity has gone up to 7,450 MVA. — Corporate Reporter
