Engineering research centre

KOCHI: Education Minister M.A. Baby said here on Friday that the government would set up a Centre for Engineering Research which would coordinate all other engineering institutions in the State. The government had sought the help of Central agencies for setting up the centre. He said there was no confusion regarding the conversion of the Cochin University of Science and Technology into an Indian Institute of Engineering Science and Technology (IIEST). Various processes regardi ng the conversionwere progressing, he added.
