Lottery tickets launched

Thiruvananthapuram: Finance Minister T.M. Thomas Isaac has said that the government is expecting a turnover of Rs.350 crore from the sale of lottery tickets this year. The Minister, who was launching six new lotteries of the government here on Friday, said that the revenue would be used for the development of the State. He added that the turnover expected next year from the sale of lottery tickets was Rs.1,000 crore. — Special Correspondent
