Anurag Gupta, Managing Director of GE Healthcare’s life sciences unit, who participated in the BioAsia-2008 here on Friday, said the company proposed to expand its research and development centre in Bangalore. The company had already set up a centre of excellence in Bangalore. The customer education centre and the existing R&D facility had 20 employees. Cellular tech foray Mr. Gupta said that the company was looking at organic growth and was yet to decide on acquisitions.
