Brace by Rathod

Bangalore: Rathod struck a brace (54th and 69th minutes) as KSP defeated Kodava Samaja 5-1 in a Field Marshall Cariappa Memorial hockey tournament match at the KSHA Stadium here on Friday evening.

Sunder (5th), Mahesh (47th) and Roshan Madappa (49th) also scored for the victor while Len Aiyappa scored for the loser.

Later ASC defeated RWF 4-2. K.P. Deepu (27th), Sanjay Tete (42nd), Harpreet Singh (55th) and Parthasarathy (61st) scored for ASC while Sampath (54th, 56th) scored for RWF.
