Mohit slots three

NEW DELHI: Three goals by Mohit Das proved inadequate as Jawaharlal Nehru PG College (Bhopal) was held to a 3-3 draw by Guru Nanak Khalsa College (Yamuna Nagar) in the 15th SAIL Nehru Champion Colleges hockey tournament here on Friday.

The Bhopal team led 2-0 at halftime with Mohit striking in the 18th and 34th minutes. He scored again in the 56th minute.

However, Gurbaj Singh, Nirmal Singh and Jitender Kumar scored a goal each to help the Yamuna Nagar team pull off a draw.

The tournament was inaugurated by the Chairman of the Steel Authority of India Limited, S.K. Roongta.
