Shimla: Concerned over erratic supply of LPG in the State, Himachal Pradesh Government has urged the Centre to regulate it as the prevailing cold wave conditions might aggravate the situation. ConsumptionIn a letter to the Union Minister for Petroleum and Natural Gas, Murli Deora, Chief Minister Prem Kumar Dhumal on Friday said that LPG stocks in the State were not enough to last long as its consumption increases manifold during winter with people using LPG cylinders to heat their houses and offices. Pointing out that cold wave conditions were still prevailing in Himachal with the higher reaches experiencing regular snowfall which often render them inaccessible by road, Mr. Dhumal requested Mr. Deora to direct the authorities concerned to streamline LPG supplies to the State without further delay.
