Seven jail employees transferred

Jalandhar: Seven employees of Jalandhar Central Jail were on Friday transferred for allegedly smuggling drugs into the jail premises, sources said.

The seven employees, along with 14 others were reportedly found guilty of having strong nexus with drug suppliers after a magisterial probe, conducted by Assistant Deputy Commissioner of Police S.P.S. Marar.

The transferred employees are Ram Krishan, Kulwant Singh, Kuldeep Singh, Naresh Chandan, Balbir Singh, Daljinder Singh and Bhupinder Singh.
