Banks recruit MBA students

KARAIKUDI: Twenty-one students, who are pursuing second year M.B.A. (Banking and Insurance) course in the Department of Bank Management, Alagappa University, have been selected as probationary officers in scale I through campus interview conducted by The Lakshmi Vilas Bank Ltd., Karur.
A university press release said the selected students, including 13 women, would receive their appointment orders within seven days from the date of declaration of their result. The knowledge, skill, mannerism and other employability soft skills imparted to the MBA students enabled them to secure employment in the bank.
Vice-Chancellor Prof. P. Ramasamy and Registrar R. Dhandapani and Dean of Faculty of Management RM. Chidambaram congratulated the students and appreciated the faculty members for their untiring efforts for this accomplishment.
