PRTU demands GO withdrawal

ADILABAD: The Progressive Recognised Teachers’ Union (PRTU) district unit on Friday staged a dharna in front of the Adilabad Mandal Parishad office withdrawal of objectionable clauses from GO Ms. No. 2 issued on January 3.

The GO gives authority to gram sarpanches concerned to inspect local schools. Among the 26 other demands were scrapping of apprenticeship, scrapping of contributory pension scheme and sanction of required posts in upgraded schools.
