He urged the YC members to create awareness among common people on the government’s developmental programmes to defeat the TDP’s propaganda.

At a training programme held for district-level YC members, the MLA said the government was spending hundreds of crores of rupees to construct new irrigation projects to improve the economic condition of poor farmers. He said for the benefit of the poor, the government had also provided low-cost housing under Indiramma scheme. Besides, rice at Rs. 2 a kg would be launched on Ugadi, he said.
