CHANDIGARH: Haryana has been able to reduce its aggregate transmission and commercial (AT and C) losses of power by about six per cent with improvement in the transmission and distribution system, thanks to better management said Haryana Power Transmission and Distribution Corporations Chairman O. S. Lohchab here on Friday. “Efforts are on now to further reduce these losses,” he added. Mr. Lohchab disclosed that Haryana Power Utilities had considerably augmented the capacity of the transmission and distribution system, rehabilitated and segregated the load of 11 KV feeders under an ongoing plan, promoted efficient use of electricity and promoted energy audit.
