Woman attacked and robbed

TAMBARAM: A 65-year-old woman was attacked by three men and robbed of five-sovereigns gold chain.

K.Kanniammal of Choolaimedu was waylaid by three unidentified men who engaged her in conversation and took her inside the crowded market and snatched her chain.

Tambaram police are investigating.
