Jewellery stolen

A woman domestic servant allegedly escaped with jewellery and diamonds stolen from her employer’s residence on Halls Road on Friday.

Police said that following a complaint from the employer, Ramesh Bajaj, a case of cheating and theft had been registered. Preliminary inquiries revealed that the woman joined work in the house a few days ago.
