Delhi Jets enters final

HYDERABAD: Jai Prakash Yadav’s century (101, 98b, 10x4, 1x6) helped Delhi Jets defeat Hyderabad Heroes by 26 runs in the final league match of the Indian Cricket League here on Friday.

Delhi Jets has qualified for the final.

Batting first, Delhi Jets scored 321 for eight in 50 overs, thanks to a 146-run partnership between J.P. Yadav and Abbas Ali (78, 87b, 5x4, 2x6).

In reply, Hyderabad Heroes went down despite a fine opening partnership of 173 between P. Sashank Nag (104, 90b, 12x4, 2x6) and P.S. Niranjan (52).

J.P. Yadav was named ‘Man of the match.’

Delhi Jets 321 for eight in 50 overs (J.P. Yadav 101, Abbas Ali 78) bt Hyderabad Heroes 295 in 50 overs (Sashank Nag 104, P.S. Niranjan 52, R.S.A. Tamarkar four for 60).
