Revised guidelines

Coimbatore: The Government had revised the procedures for the distribution of cement at reduced rates for the benefit of the low income and economically backward people.

A release from the District Collector, Neeraj Mittal said that people wanting cement at reduced rates could avail it from the Tamil Nadu Civil Supplies Corporation stock yards by producing their original approved plan along with photostat copies According to the revised procedures 40 cement bags would be given for a maximum of 100 square feet and the maximum would be 200 bags per person and could be availed in eight strokes to suit their needs and convenience. To receive the cement at reduced rates a demand draft should be drawn in favour of Tamil Nadu Civil Supplies Corporation, Coimbatore.
