Killed in accident

KRISHNAGIRI: Four persons were killed and 10 others sustained injuries in two separate accidents in Krishnagiri district on Saturday. Police said a 25-year-old youth and Ponnusamy of Ollur village in Dharmapuri district were killed in a collision involving two buses in Vannalvadi villagenear here. The identity of the youth was yet to be established.As many as 10 persons injured in the accident and were admitted to Hosur Government Hospital. In another accident, two women, Mallika John (48) and Kurshita Begam (40), both residents of Puthupettai, were killed when a Karnataka State Road Transport Corporation bus hit them. The women tried to cross the Bangalore National Highways when the accident took place.
