PUDUCHERRY: General Secretary of the Nationalist Congress Party T.P. Peethambaran Master on Saturday demanded stern action against the Maharashtra Navanirman Sena (MNS) which had allegedly fomented violence in Mumbai to ensure that such incidents did not recur in the financial capital of the country or in any other State. Replying to queries on the violence triggered by MNS leader Raj Thackeray, he told reporters here that it was very unfortunate that certain political parties and outfits wanted to build their organisations by whipping up caste, communal or regional passions instead of projecting political or economic issues.
