Rain disrupts life in Vizag

HYDERABAD: Andhra Pradesh experienced unseasonal heavy rains and low temperatures on Saturday as a result of an upper air trough hovering over the State from Orissa to Tamil Nadu caused by winds from the North. Life was disrupted in Visakhapatnam following a downpour. The city recorded rainfall of 7.8 cm for the 24-hour period ending 8.30 a.m. on Saturday.

Temperatures dipped even in Telangana due to cold winds that swept through mid-Andhra Pradesh.
