Raw deal for State projects flayed

HYDERABAD: The Andhra Pradesh Rythu Sangham has flayed the Central government for not including the irrigation projects of Andhra Pradesh in the list of “national assets” released recently.

In a statement, Sangham president K. Ramakrishna and general secretary R. Venkaiah said 14 projects had been recognised as national assets during a meeting convened by Prime Minister Manmohan Singh and it was decided to spend Rs. 53,200 crore on them.
