IOB scores narrow win

THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: Indian Overseas Bank squeezed out an eight-run win over Rovers CC in the Canara Bank-TDCA ‘A’ division cricket league at the Medical College ground on Saturday.

Chasing 182 for a win, Rovers CC’s innings was rocked by an incisive spell by Siva Pramod (five for 59) as it fell short of the target by nine runs with 10 balls remaining.

The scores: IOB 181 in 44.4 overs (Sreekesh 42) bt Rovers CC 173 in 43.2 overs (Renjith 54, Siva Pramod five for 59).
