Tiruchi: The Institute for Entrepreneurship and Career Development (IECD) of Bharathidasan University and the Tamil Nadu Slum Clearance Board has decided to jointly offer certificate course in computer hardware and network engineering to people residing in slum areas of the district. The duration of the course is three months. Men and women in the age group 16-35 years with a pass or fail in 10th standard are eligible for the course. Interested candidates are requested to come and register their names on or before February 12 at IECD, Bharathidasan University, Khajamalai campus, Tiruchi between 10 a.m. and 6 p.m. with the required certificates and proof of identity. No registration fee will be collected. Selected candidates will be given Rs.400 as monthly stipend. The course will be conducted from February 14 onwards on all days except Sundays.
