AFI suspends AIU

NEW DELHI: The Athletics Federation of India (AFI) on Saturday suspended the Association of Indian Universities (AIU) for a period of three months, pending an enquiry into the circumstances in which two suspended athletes were allowed to compete in the recent all-India inter-University athletics championships at Chidambaram, Tamil Nadu. — Special Correspondent
