Woman commits suicide

Bangalore: A 30-year-old woman committed suicide by jumping into a well along with her two sons in Devanahalli police limits on Friday. However, one of her sons was rescued by the people.

The police said Susheela jumped into the well along with Chandrababu (6) and Venkatesh (3) on Friday. Some people, who saw Susheela jumping into the well, were able to rescue only Chandrababu, the police said.

Two motorcyclists died on the spot near Arashinakunte checkpost in Nelamangala on Saturday when a van rammed their vehicle.

The police have identified the victims as Ramanna (30), a cashier in a bar and resident of Hebbur, and Hanumaiah, a resident of Nelamangala. The incident took place around 11.45 a.m.
