Temperature dips; some areas receive rain

Bangalore: When Bangaloreans had begun to pack away woollens and were bracing themselves up for the summer, the city experienced sudden fall in temperature on Saturday with unexpected rainfall. Weather experts said that the depression over the Bay of Bengal resulted in rain, which brought down the temperature to 19.9 degree Celsius.

Though the city experienced drizzle in the morning, many parts received light to moderate rain late in the night.

While the city received 0.5 mm rainfall till 8.30 p.m., the airport recorded 1 mm rainfall.

The maximum temperature was 28 degree Celsius.

People took out their pullovers and raincoats as the city received light and moderate spells of rain.

Cloudy sky

According to the weather forecast, the sky is likely to be cloudy and a few spells of rain on Sunday too.
