Debut novel: Filmmaker Saeed Akhtar Mirza’s “Ammi: Letter to a Democratic Mother” was released at Landmark bookstore on Saturday in Bangalore. The book weaves a personal account, political commentary and Sufi tales to present a complex picture of a changing nation.
