Art for a cause

Bangalore: The residence of Wim and Katya Elfrink saw an eclectic gathering on Sunday evening for Rang, an art auction co-hosted by Taj West End. The proceeds will support two charity trusts, Karunashraya and Ashwini.

There were five pieces of art on auction by J.M.S. Mani, G. Subramaniam, Shankar Kendale, Basuki Dasgupta and Sujata Achrekar. Other canvases by artists such as Beena Pradhan, H.R. Das, Mridul Chandra, Tarun Banerjee, Seema Kohli and Biswajit Mondal were on sale.
