‘KCR playing political game’

Staff Reporter

KARIMNAGAR: District Congress Committee president T Santosh Kumar on Sunday charged TRS president K Chandrashekhar Rao with conducting public meetings only to boost the sagging morale of the party’s rank and file in Telangana region.

“Mr. Rao is provoking the Telangana sentiment for his selfish gains. He has no concern for the development of Telangana region and playing the political drama by threatening to resign en masse”, he remarked.

Talking to newsmen here on Sunday, Mr. Santosh Kumar launched a scathing attack against the TRS president for making statements against the District Ministers T Jeevan Reddy and J Ratnakara Rao and Government Whip D Sridhar Babu.

He reminded that these Congress leaders were in the forefront to raise the demand for separate Telangana state and separate PCC in the year 2002. “There was no TRS party when the Telangana Congress legislators have launched a crusade for the Telangana statehood and development of the region”, he pointed out.
