When in full make-up

M. Raghuram

‘Rajkumar in flesh and blood’

He is Jagadish Shivapura

He has performed in Dubai too

BANGALORE: Dr. Rajkumar is no longer with us. But thanks to Jagadish Shivapura, you can still “see him in flesh and blood”.

Mr. Shivapura not only looks like Dr. Rajkumar, but also acts, speaks and sings like him.

This has kept him in constant demand by the organisers of entertainment programmes from all corners of Karnataka.

Mr. Shivapura is a great fan of Dr. Rajkumar and says that he was an institution of acting in himself.

Every mannerism of the actor and his body language are lessons to students of acting, he says.

Mr. Shivapura started imitating Dr. Rajkumar in the 1990s and his acting has been lauded by the matinee idol himself on an occasion.

When in full make-up, he is a mirror image of Dr. Rajkumar.

Mr. Shivapura has also sung in different musical groups and visited various States such as Goa, Kerala, Maharashtra, Delhi and Haryana to perform.

He has given a performance in Dubai too.
