Festival of Jammu and Kashmir begins

PANAJI: A weeklong food and cultural festival of Jammu and Kashmir Tourism Development Corporation (JKTDC) was inaugurated at Garden Lawns of Calangute Residency by Tourism Secretary M. Modassir on Monday.

The festival, being supported by Ministry of Tourism, Government of India, is the third one being held after Delhi and Kolkata, said Sanjit Rodrigues, Managing Director, Goa Tourism Development Corporation (GTDC).

Shahnawaz, Research Officer of the JKTDC, and other dignitaries were present on the occasion.

The festival will end on February 17.
