Cane ryots seek market linkage

KORAPUT: Sugarcane farmers of Nowrangpur district are facing serious problems due to lack of any market linkages to sell their produce. The farmers lost most of their crop due to pests this year. They faced new challenges when they had to carry loads of sugarcane to the sugar factory at Deogaon in Balangir district covering more than 300 Km. on their own as the only way to dispose off their stock.
