CPI keen to merge

Thrissur: Communist Marxist Party leader M.V. Raghavan on Monday said the Communist Party of India seemed eager to merge with the Communist Party of India (Marxist). “When CPI State secretary Veliyam Bhargavan speaks about unity, he means the merger of CPI and CPI(M). CPI is enthusiastic about the merger because the CPI(M) is a bigger establishment.”
